For New Years Eve 2018 I had the wonderful oportunity to travel to London and celebrate the start of the new year in this wonderful city.
There is always an advantage about exploring places with local people. They know places you never heard about.
As this was not my first visit of London we didn't do all the typical "touristic stuff" (I will do a post about that later as well) but more special things.
The first day we went to visit "Sky Garden". Maybe you already heard about it- I didn't know about it before.
It's a kind of botanical garden on top of a buliding called "walkie talkie".
Up there you can find a restaurant, a coffee shop and one of the most stunning views over this vibrant city.
As you can see in the pictures its really impressing. You can see all the famous buildings like the Tower bridge or the St.Paul's cathedral.If you plan to visit "Sky Garden" you have to book you tickets in advance. Be quick with that because a lot of other tourist may have the same idea.
But now the best about this whole experience its totally for free. The tickets to take the lift to the top doesn't cost you anything.
So really think about going up there when you are in London next time. It's totally worth it.
